Our client, a boutique fund in Dallas, TX, is looking for an experienced Executive/ Personal Assistant/ Chief of Staff to support the firm’s Managing Partner in seamlessly managing his professional and personal responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of relevant experience and be adept at managing administrative and organizational tasks with a high degree of independence in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting. This role requires exceptional communication, decision-making and organizational skills to efficiently handle both daily priorities and long-term projects. While primarily in-office based on business needs, the position offers flexibility for remote work when the Managing Partner travels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organize Managing Partner's schedule and book meetings on his behalf
- Participate in meetings, capturing critical action items and ensure accountability through timely follow-up
- Oversee itineraries for trips, book cars, be on-call as needed when Managing Partner is traveling
- Prepare and review documents, reports, and presentations
- Support email correspondence and communications on behalf of Managing Partner
- Take responsibility for specific work products as assigned, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Ensure Managing Partner stays focused on key and high priority initiatives
- Serve as a liaison between the Partner and external stakeholders and portfolio companies
- Assist (as needed) with organizing travel arrangements, process expense reports
- Ad hoc projects as special assignments as requested
- Assist with personal tasks, such liaising with philanthropies, boards, political events, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of applicable experience
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Flexible attitude with a hardworking/ roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
SALARY
$120-160K (DOE) + discretionary bonus opportunity + benefits
HOURS
8:30am/ 9am - 5:30/ 6pm + on call flexibility as needed
