Jr. EA to CIO and Team at Small Investment Firm in Midtown West

Our client, a boutique investment management firm based in Midtown NYC, is looking to hire a junior EA to support the CIO and team.  The successful candidate must be humble, well spoken, skilled, and impeccably polished.  The position requires at least 2-3 years of administrative experience post-graduation and strong administrative skills. This role is 5x days a week in-office.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Scheduling and calendar management for the COO
  • Handle travel planning including airline reservations, hotel accommodations, car rental reservations, car service arrangements and driving directions as needed
  • Process and track expense reports and reimbursements
  • Produce letters, memoranda, presentations, reports, etc. as necessary
  • Proofread documents for appropriate grammar, punctuation and spelling
  • Assist in presentation preparation
  • Performing ad hoc projects as needed
  • Personal work as needed
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced environment and interact with senior management
  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of corporate administrative experience in roles that interfaced with external clients and executive management.
  • Must have superior skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and proficient knowledge in PowerPoint
  • Experience and proficiency working with automated expense tracking, travel etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented
  • Strong time management skills; ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments, with a high degree of accuracy, and meet deadlines in a high pressure environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal guidance
 
SALARY
$70-75K + discretionary bonus + $25/ day lunch stipend + excellent benefits 
 
HOURS
8am-5pm Monday-Friday (full time in-office
