Our client, a highly reputable Private Equity firm located in Midtown East, is looking to hire an ongoing temp Executive Assistant / Floater to work across a variety of core departments/teams throughout the company. The successful candidate will have at least 5 plus years of administrative experience in a corporate environment and a positive and flexible attitude. This is a great opportunity for someone who is willing to assist a fast-paced and high-energy firm! This role is in the office, 5x a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to maintain calendars, contacts and tasks
- Provide general administrative support as requested (handle/assist with incoming phone calls, put together presentations/prepare materials for meetings, etc.), and provide backup administrative support as needed
- Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings
- Prepare and submit expenses reports
- Coordinate travel arrangements
- Proactively anticipate work assignments whenever possible
- Work with departments in need of extra help; and other reasonably related duties as assigned
- Ongoing ad hoc projects as requested
REQUIREMENTS
- Over 5 years of administrative experience - out of finance is a plus!
- Strong working knowledge of computers and relevant software applications, primarily Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with strong follow-through skills
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Flexibility to juggle moderate degree of multiple and changing priorities
- Resourcefulness (especially online) in executing projects
- Positive and Collaborative/teamwork attitude and skills is a MUST!
SALARY
$42-$45/hr. + lunch provided
HOURS
9am-5:00pm + flexibility for OT if needed
