Apply to Executive Assistant to Partner at Midtown PE Firm--4x a week in person
Our client, an established lower-middle-market private equity firm, is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide 1:1 support to one of the firm’s longtime Partners. The firm has approximately 40 employees and invests across a portfolio of approximately 13 companies.
This is a traditional Executive Assistant role supporting a senior Partner who is later in his career. The pace is relatively manageable, and the position will focus primarily on calendar management, travel, expenses, meeting coordination, and general administrative support, with some light personal assistance as needed.
The ideal candidate is polished, organized, discreet, and comfortable supporting a senior executive with an established working style. They are looking for someone warm, personable, and low ego who genuinely enjoys the EA function and is interested in finding a stable, long-term home within a well-established investment firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
$150K+ base (DOE) + approximately 15% discretionary bonus + overtime + approximately 85% employer-paid healthcare + 401(k) with employer match + strong overall benefits package

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide day-to-day Executive Assistant support to a senior Partner
- Manage calendar and scheduling, including internal and external meetings, appointments, and Board-related commitments
- Coordinate domestic and international travel in partnership with the firm’s travel agent
- Prepare and process expense reports
- Coordinate meetings, reservations, appointments, and other business logistics
- Maintain organized records, correspondence, and administrative materials
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide light personal assistance as needed, including occasional appointments and scheduling for the Partner and his family
- Assist with coordination related to the Partner’s philanthropic activities as needed; the philanthropic work itself is separately staffed
- Maintain confidential business and personal information with discretion
- Partner with other Executive Assistants and employees across the firm as needed
- Assist with ad hoc administrative requests and projects
- 8+ years of Executive Assistant experience, ideally supporting senior professionals
- Prior experience within private equity, investment management, financial services, or a sophisticated professional services environment strongly preferred
- Strong calendar management, travel coordination, and expense reporting skills
- Comfortable providing a combination of business and light personal support
- Polished, professional, and discreet
- Warm, personable, and easygoing demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable with consistent follow-through
- Comfortable adapting to an executive’s established preferences and working style
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented and low ego

- Monday through Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm with a one-hour lunch
- Midtown Manhattan – 527 Madison Avenue
- In-office Monday–Thursday, with Fridays remote
- Summer schedule: remote Mondays and Fridays
- Overtime as needed; this is not a 24/7 support role
