EA/PA to Founder/CEO & Team at a Healthcare Startup in Midtown

Our client, a fast-growing Series A digital health startup headquartered in New York City, is seeking a highly capable and dynamic Executive Assistant to support its CEO and broader founding team. With a current headcount of ~40 and significant growth plans ahead, the company is expanding rapidly and looking for an individual who thrives in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment. This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible role at an inflection point for the company. The position goes beyond traditional executive support, offering the chance to act as a true right hand to leadership—supporting day-to-day operations while also taking on special projects and contributing to the overall efficiency and culture of the organization. This role is hybrid of 3-4 days in office, however it is expected for the candidate to be in office whenever the founder is. 
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide high-level executive support to the CEO, with additional support to other founders as needed
  • Manage complex and ever-changing calendars, coordinating internal and external meetings across multiple stakeholders
  • Handle domestic travel arrangements, including detailed itineraries and logistics (no international travel at this time)
  • Assist with personal support tasks as needed, including travel coordination and occasional personal logistics
  • Act as a gatekeeper and strategic partner—prioritizing communications and ensuring leadership is focused on high-impact initiatives
  • Support internal operations, including onboarding coordination for new hires and helping to build internal processes
  • Assist in planning and coordinating team events, offsites, and internal gatherings (happy hours, lunches, etc.)
  • Help maintain office organization and contribute to a positive, well-run in-office experience
  • Take ownership of ad hoc projects and initiatives, often navigating ambiguity and driving work from concept through completion
  • Liaise with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders as needed

REQUIREMENTS
  • 5–10+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant or similar support role
  • Prior experience supporting founders or senior executives in a fast-paced, startup or high-growth environment strongly preferred
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust with senior leadership
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats, including both professional and occasional personal support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable leveraging tools to improve efficiency and organization
  • Ability to work independently while anticipating needs and taking initiative

HOURS & LOCATION
  • Hybrid schedule based in New York City (3–4 days in office preferred) as executives are in office
  • Standard business hours with flexibility as needed to support leadership

COMPENSATION
  • Base salary: $125K–$140K (DOE) + benefits
