Our client, a hedge fund in Midtown West, is seeking a highly strategic Executive Assistant to support the Chief Investment Officer in a critical, high-impact role. This is not a traditional Executive Assistant seat, but rather a position for someone who operates as a true extension of the executive, bringing structure, judgment, and thoughtful prioritization to a complex and fast-moving environment.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience supporting a CIO or similarly senior investment executive within a hedge fund environment, and will bring exceptional attention to detail, sound judgment, and a highly anticipatory approach to support. This is a role for an independent thinker and strong problem solver who is comfortable operating with autonomy, adding value without needing significant direction, and navigating an environment with ever-changing calendars and shifting priorities. The role requires someone comfortable managing up, exercising sound judgment in nuanced situations, and bringing clarity, structure, and strong execution in a fast-moving and often fluid environment.
