Our client, an asset manager located in Midtown, is seeking a highly experienced and exceptionally polished Executive Assistant to support a senior C-suite leader with broad responsibilities across the firm. This is a fast-moving, high-expectation environment where the bar for excellence is extremely high. The executive oversees multiple areas of the business, including their Energy Sector work, requiring an EA who is anticipatory, composed, and able to make smart judgment calls in real time.
The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years of direct C-suite support experience out of the ENERGY SECTOR , ideally within a large, complex organization. This EA must be proactive, resourceful, and consistently several steps ahead—operating as a true strategic partner to an executive with a demanding, ever-shifting schedule. This role is in office 5x a week in their gorgeous Midtown office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide high-level executive support, including complex calendar management, prioritization, and domestic/international travel coordination.
- Act as a trusted gatekeeper, triaging communication, managing inbound requests, and optimizing the executive’s time.
- Prepare, edit, and manage executive-ready presentations, reports, correspondence, and briefing materials.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings end-to-end: agendas, prep materials, logistics, and action-item follow-through.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise exceptional judgment with sensitive information.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, senior leadership, board members, and external partners.
- Navigate complex scheduling across multiple functions, time zones, and shifting priorities.
- Support special projects, operational initiatives, and cross-functional workflows on behalf of the executive.
- Anticipate needs, problem-solve proactively, and ensure seamless execution in a high-intensity environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7–10+ years of direct C-suite support experience out of the energy sector (required).
- Experience supporting executives with complex mandates and demanding schedules.
- Impeccable discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; polished, executive-ready output.
- World-class organizational and prioritization skills; thrives under pressure.
- Strong judgment, executive presence, and the ability to build trust quickly.
- Comfortable making autonomous decisions and staying ahead of evolving needs.
HOURS:
8:30am–5:30pm, with flexibility as needed
SALARY:
Compensation is negotiable and DOE, up to $200- 250K base + discretionary bonus + daily lunch stipend + fully covered health, dental, and vision + 401K.
